Blood bath of innocence in Gaza....! Is it for God?

As per the statistics of UNICEF, the UN agency for Children, around 73 children were killed in the latest conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza. Ten-year-old Afnan Shuheiber was killed when she was playing with her cousins on a Gaza City rooftop. War Child and Defence for Children International say that Israeli fire killed more children than Palestinian militants. Whatever may be the statistics, children fall victims of war and militant attack, which is the most pathetic thing in crossfire.

Catherine Weibel, NUICEF, revealed that around 73 Palestinian children have been killed from July 8th to July 19th. The children, including 53 boys and 20 girls, are coming under the age of 18. The youngest was just three months old, Catherine said.

Afnan and her two cousins, Wissam and Jihad, were killed on Thursday afternoon when they were playing in the Sabra district of Gaza City. Due to incessant violence in that area, the children were confined at their home for days. That afternoon, they went to the rooftop for getting relaxation. But, they become the tragic victims of the violence.
Bodies of these children were kept side by side at the Shifa hospital. The eyes of seven year old Wissam were still open, seems like staring at a distance.

Gaza is a thickly populated placed and it is the home for around 1.8 million people. Children live in fear. This violence will create long term effects in the life of children. They witnessed three wars in six years. So, they are unable to enjoy their childhood. Before the outbreak of war, around 60,000 children in Gaza sought psychosocial support. Now, the conflict has become worse and the number of children need physcological support is also increasing tremendously. Hamas and Israel have their own reason for crossfire. But, these children need a peaceful life.

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
