With an initiative to help common man, Canara Bank rolled out ATM bus in Bangalore. Thus, people can withdraw new currency notes without lining outside a bank. The mobile ATM helped nearly 800 customers so far and they could withdraw Rs 8 lakh work of cash from this ATM. The blue colored ATM bus was spotted at MG Road in Bangalore.

Canara Bank Circle Office General Manger MM Chiniwar said, “When I passed through MG Road, I found the long queues outside the ATM but most of these counters were running out of cash. So, I planned to introduce mobile ATM, which is perfect for serving the rural customers in Banguluru.”

The ATM bus arrived at MG Road around 5.30PM. People feel a wave of relief when they see the mobile ATM. They need not stand in long queue to withdraw money. Sufficient cash is available at this ATM bus, thus it is highly helpful for reducing the rush.
